“600 Days in Hiding” – A talk by Andreas Algava, holocaust survivor and author of 600 Days in Hiding: A Jewish Family in Nazi Occupied Thessaloniki, Greece is scheduled for Thursday, November 15th at 7 pm in Fellowship Hall. The program is free and open to the public and is sponsored by East Bay Citizens for Peace, our Mission and Justice Ministry Team, and Temple Habonim. Disturbed by parallels in U.S. and world politics, Algava sees his family memoir – 600 Days in Hiding – as a call to action to prevent a recurrence of the tragedy that occurred during his childhood. All are welcome.
