Boy, Was That Spectacular!!

On December 16th, we celebrated our first Family Christmas Spectacular!! The highlight of the day was the cantata Joy!, by Joel Rainey, performed by our choir and number of musical guests. After such an upbeat and moving event we retired to our Fellowship Hall for cocoa, cookies and crafts. The event was attended by roughly 200 people of all ages and we had a wonderful time!!

Thanksgiving Food Collection

TAPIN Thanksgiving Food Collection

Once again we are joining with other churches in town to help provide the food that is given away to those in need in the TAPIN Thanksgiving Food bags. Our congregation is asked to provide Instant Mashed Potatoes, Brownie Mix, and Stuffing Mix. (Please note that TAPIN is not allowed to split up large boxes of these items purchased from BJ’s etc – they can only give out the regular sized boxes.) Following worship on Oct. 28, we took over the parking lot and opened our trunks to the kids (big and small) of the church. Lots of fun, laughs, and candy was had by all!!




Join us for Barrington’s Day of Caring!

A Community Wide Day of Volunteering will take place on Monday, October 8, 2018

The event will kick off at noon at Barrington Town Hall. Volunteers will gather before they leave to various sites where they can put their talents to work by improving the lives of their neighbors and the local community. Activities will include home improvement, decluttering, yard work, and cleanup of the beach. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

We’re playing for the Championship!

In their second playoff game, BCCUCC defeated St. Lukes in a well played, hard fought 8 – 7 game.  That puts BCCUCC in the championship game!!   A big 6 run fourth inning got BCCUCC a lead that they never gave up. The inning was started with a hit by Erik Ela and then our birthday boy Paul Movsesian followed that with a hit followed by Robin Gardner, Steve Peck, Rob Gonsalves, Peony Moore, and JT Park. BCCUCC Cliff Walk and Picnic

Our BCCUCC Youth Group kick-off event this year is for all 6th-12th graders, their families, and any other families who want to join us!

We are going to walk the cliff walk together in Newport, RI on Sunday Sept 23rd after church.

Please bring a bagged lunch for a picnic.

We will leave from the church at 12 pm and return by 4 pm.

Church School Registration

Registration will take place again after the worship service on Sunday, September 23rd. There will be a table in the foyer of Fellowship Hall where a parent or guardian who registered their child(ren) last year can just update the info and initial the form for this year, and parents/guardians of children new to the program can fill out a registration form. Homecoming Sunday worship returns to 10 am.

This Sunday, September 9th, is Homecoming Sunday and it marks the return to worship at 10 am. The service will be for all ages, and will include a dedication of the volunteers who work with our children and youth – so we hope they can make it. Rev. Dale Azevedo will preach and the the choir will be back after their summer break. Church School classes begin the following Sunday.

Kayaking on Hundred Acre Cove

Dale is planning an afternoon of kayaking on the Barrington River and Hundred Acre Cove for anyone interested on Sunday, August 19th from 2:30 – 4 pm.

It’s open to all ages and abilities.

Summer at BCCUCC

Summer Worship at 9:30 a.m.

Our Sunday worship service is a half hour earlier than normal, being held at 9:30 a.m. from June 24th through September 2nd, 2018.   The worship service is for all ages and nursery care is provided for infants and children up to age 3.   We hope you can join us for worship this summer!


Summer Office Hours

From June 18th through Labor Day, 2018, the church office is open 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Monday, Tuesday and Thursday;  open from 11 am – 1 pm on Wednesday; and closed on Friday.
