Church Annual Meeting

Sunday, June 9th, 2019

Our church’s 2019 Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday, June 9th in the Sanctuary immediately following the worship service.  All church members are encouraged to attend.   Child care will be provided.

Boy, Was That Spectacular!!

On December 16th, we celebrated our first Family Christmas Spectacular!! The highlight of the day was the cantata Joy!, by Joel Rainey, performed by our choir and number of musical guests. After such an upbeat and moving event we retired to our Fellowship Hall for cocoa, cookies and crafts. The event was attended by roughly 200 people of all ages and we had a wonderful time!!

Come to our Family Christmas Spectacular!!

On Sunday, December 16, we will host our Family Christmas Spectacular!

The festivities begin with a special service at 10:00 AM, where the BCCUCC choir, along with special musical guests, will present Joy! A Gospel Christmas, by Joel Raney. This upbeat and powerful telling of the Christmas story delights audiences with Christmas carols like you’ve never heard before interspersed with scripture readings on the theme of joy. People of all ages are welcome to stay in worship and enjoy the production, but childcare and special children’s activities

Holocaust Survivor to speak at BCCUCC

“600 Days in Hiding” – A talk by Andreas Algava, holocaust survivor and author of 600 Days in Hiding: A Jewish Family in Nazi Occupied Thessaloniki, Greece is scheduled for Thursday, November 15th at 7 pm in Fellowship Hall. Thanksgiving Food Collection

TAPIN Thanksgiving Food Collection

Once again we are joining with other churches in town to help provide the food that is given away to those in need in the TAPIN Thanksgiving Food bags. Our congregation is asked to provide Instant Mashed Potatoes, Brownie Mix, and Stuffing Mix. (Please note that TAPIN is not allowed to split up large boxes of these items purchased from BJ’s etc – they can only give out the regular sized boxes.) Trunk or Treat 2018!!

Following worship on Oct. 28, we took over the parking lot and opened our trunks to the kids (big and small) of the church. Lots of fun, laughs, and candy was had by all!!

     

    

    

Join us for Barrington’s Day of Caring!

BARRINGTON DAY OF CARING
A Community Wide Day of Volunteering will take place on Monday, October 8, 2018

The event will kick off at noon at Barrington Town Hall. Volunteers will gather before they leave to various sites where they can put their talents to work by improving the lives of their neighbors and the local community. Activities will include home improvement, decluttering, yard work, and cleanup of the beach. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

We’re playing for the Championship!

In their second playoff game, BCCUCC defeated St. Lukes in a well played, hard fought 8 – 7 game.  That puts BCCUCC in the championship game!!   A big 6 run fourth inning got BCCUCC a lead that they never gave up. The inning was started with a hit by Erik Ela and then our birthday boy Paul Movsesian followed that with a hit followed by Robin Gardner, Steve Peck, Rob Gonsalves, Peony Moore, and JT Park. BCCUCC Cliff Walk and Picnic

Our BCCUCC Youth Group kick-off event this year is for all 6th-12th graders, their families, and any other families who want to join us!

We are going to walk the cliff walk together in Newport, RI on Sunday Sept 23rd after church.

Please bring a bagged lunch for a picnic.

We will leave from the church at 12 pm and return by 4 pm.

Church School Registration

Registration will take place again after the worship service on Sunday, September 23rd. There will be a table in the foyer of Fellowship Hall where a parent or guardian who registered their child(ren) last year can just update the info and initial the form for this year, and parents/guardians of children new to the program can fill out a registration form.
