Chancel Fund donations requested

Even though we are not able to gather in the sanctuary to worship this Advent and Christmas 2020, we will still be decorating the altar area in preparation for and celebration of Christ’s birth. It’s going to be a little different this year and you’ll get the opportunity to see it each week by watching the virtual worship services beginning Sunday, November 29th.
The Deacons will also be delivering holiday plants to our homebound, sick and recently bereaved. We are therefore inviting the congregation to make a donation to the Chancel Fund this […]

It started out as a simple conversation. We decided to hold a Zoom meeting for any of our membership who wanted to talk about racism in our community and country and how we might be able to respond. We shared our experiences and pain. We listened to one another. And we discussed a variety of responses we could take. We decided to hold a silent vigil outside the church and invite the other local faith communities to join us. We were amazed by the support and turnout.

Thank you to the town officials, police department, houses of worship, and our […]

Keep up to date with the changes

Update May 2020:  Initially we sent out many emails – sometimes several a week – letting the congregation know of changes taking place as a result of COVID19 and the necessary restrictions.   All of the emails sent out during that time can be read at the links below.

As the initial turmoil calmed down, we have settled into sending an email to the congregation every Thursday, and recently returned to calling it the eBridge newsletter.    It contains the worship material needed for the upcoming Sunday’s virtual worship service (a bulletin and hymn sheet), as well […]
