Mindful Mondays

Started during Lent 2018, Mindful Mondays are continuing every Monday evening from 7 – 8 pm in the Meditation Room.

Led by our Associate Minister, the Rev. Brendan Curran, the hour consists of a 20-25 minute guided meditation, a contemplative reading or poem, followed by tea and discussion.  These sessions are designed to be inclusive for people of all faiths and will be open to the public.  The meditations offered will help us cultivate stillness in our lives and ways of releasing stress, as well as a way of deepening our awareness and appreciation of life.  All are welcome.

Monday evenings from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M. in the Meditation Room.
(Except when the office is closed on Monday for a holiday).

Mid-Week Recharge

On Wednesdays from 12:30-1 pm there will either be an opportunity to meditate on your own, or there will be a short guided relaxation meditation led by Brendan – depending on his availability.    It’s a great way to reconnect with Spirit and find a moment of calm in the middle of the week.  All are welcome.

Wednesdays from 12:30-1:00 P.M. in the Meditation Room

Use of the Meditation Room

The Meditation Room offers a calm, quiet space for meditation and reflection. It has a calming aesthetic, comfortable meditation cushions and mats, bells, relaxation sound tracks, and a tea shelf.  We also have chairs available for those who prefer not to sit on the floor.

The meditation room is available for use by the congregation and community at other times than those listed above, but we ask that you call ahead (401 246-0111) to check on its availability.

All are welcome – regardless of faith, creed or none!
