“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,
I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing……”
Matthew 25:35

Once again we are heading out on a Loaves and Fishes Rhode Island truck run.

On Thursday, April 26th volunteers from BCCUCC will be taking the truck to Providence. Volunteers are needed to help prepare food and load the truck (beginning at 4:30 pm in the BCCUCC kitchen), go out on the truck and serve the people, and also donate the various food, clothing and toiletry items needed. There’s a SignUpGenius with more info and to register for any of these things at www.signupgenius.com. Thanks to everyone who has already signed up to help.

If you can’t sign up online and want to help, or just have questions, please contact Liz White or Jay and Phyllis Buckley.

Many thanks to all who regularly help out with this ministry by donating food and other items to go out on the truck, prepping the food in the kitchen, loading the truck, going out with it and serving those less fortunate, and cleaning up the truck afterwards.  Special thanks to Liz, Phyllis and Jay for running this ministry at our church.  For more information about Loaves and Fishes RI visit their Facebook page
