On Thursday, January 26th, 2017, volunteers from our church took out the Loaves and Fishes RI truck that they had filled with food, clothing and toiletries, and went to Emmanuel House and to Crossroads in Providence, where they handed them out to the homeless and others in need.

Many thanks to all who helped with this ministry by donating food and other items to go out on the truck, prepping the food in the kitchen, loading the truck, going out with it and serving those less fortunate, and cleaning up the truck afterwards.  Special thanks to Liz, Phyllis and Jay for running this ministry at our church.  For more information about Loaves and Fishes RI visit their Facebook page

I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing……”
