2016 Christmas Eve services

6pm   Family Service with Christmas Pageant

The service includes a pageant featuring giant pageant picpuppets for some of the main characters in the Christmas story, made by the Rev. Brendan Curran.  Other pageant participants will be of all ages. Younger children from the Church School will be part of the angel chorus or crowd of shepherds, and older youth and adults will have speaking roles or be puppeteers.  Others who want to join the shepherds and angels by dressing as a shepherd or angel for the 5 pm service are of course very welcome!  All are invited to this unique telling of the Christmas story.

*Please Note that this year’s Pageant will incorporate a community procession. The pageant will begin in our Fellowship Hall and the community will process with the puppets into the sanctuary as the story progresses.

10 pm   Traditional Service of Lessons and Carols

The Rev. Dr. Dale Azevedo will lead and preach at this traditional service of readings and carols.  The readings will lead us through the Biblical story of our separation from God and into our promised reconciliation with God’s through the birth of Jesus.  Music is provided through congregational singing of many of our favorite carols along with special selections from our adult choir. All music is accompanied by Mrs. Marina Zabinski.  Everyone is welcome.
