Overview

We have an impressive offering of education and activities for youth. Please take the time to browse thru the various pages in this section of our website to get a better understanding of them.

How our Church School Happens

Families come on Sunday morning for worship. Young children (birth thru age 3) are welcome in our nursery prior to the start of worship. Children aged 4 and older attend the first 15 minutes of worship with their parents.

After the “Children’s Message” portion of worship, children aged Pre-K thru Grade 8 will walk downstairs to group up by age with teacher assistants. They will then be escorted as a group to the Education Building next door for their church school lesson.

Church school ends at approximately 11:10 to allow time for parents to transition from worship to coffee hour. Parents are asked to pick up their children directly from their well-marked classrooms at 11:10. Children will not be released without a parent present.

Worship for All Ages in Sanctuary

There are some Sundays when Church School is not offered. On these special Sundays, if other programming is not planned, you are invited and encouraged to bring your children to worship with you. We provide child-friendly Worship Bags for their enjoyment during the service. Bags can be returned to the ushers at the conclusion of worship.

Church School Registration

We ask that all children and youth who participate in any program at the church be registered each year by a parent or guardian.  This is a requirement of our Safe Space Policy.

To register for the current 2016-2017 Church School Year, please complete the following registration form and return to the church office or to Andrea Bullard, our CE Coordinator.   Please note that every child needs their own individual registration form.

2016 – 2017 Church School Registration Form

Parents of children who registered last year will only need to update and initial their Registration form for this year.
